Wolfsburg have virtually all of their goals for the season in the table already solved. With two games to go, Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side are neither challenging for European places nor fighting for relegation: their place in the Bundesliga for next season is assured.
Compared to last season, when Hoffenheim finished seventh and earned the right to play in European competitions, the current campaign has been a big disappointment for the fans of the ‘peasants’.
