Rosenborg vs Mainz Prediction & Tips
Norway’s Rosenborg started their Conference League journey from the third qualifying round. The team overcame Lithuanian side Banga with authority, beating their opponents on aggregate and scoring seven goals. In the next round, Rosenborg met Sweden’s Hammarby: the first match ended in a goalless draw, but in the return leg the Norwegians won 1-0 away. At the same time, Rosenborg are battling hard in the Norwegian league, where after 18 rounds they have 30 points and are only three points off fourth place.
Mainz, meanwhile, finished sixth in the Bundesliga last season with 52 points from 34 rounds, just one point ahead of the seventh- and eighth-placed teams. However, they have already played one official match this season in the German Cup: in the round of 32 they beat Dynamo Dresden 1-0 and advanced to the next round. This weekend, Mainz also kick off their participation in the new edition of the German championship.
