Oxford United started the season as one of the main candidates for relegation from the Championship. In terms of squad quality, the team clearly lagged behind most of its rivals. At the start of the season, Leeds were considered one of the main contenders for the title and thanks to wins in recent matches they have significantly improved their position in the table. Currently, Daniel Farke’s side are in joint first place with Burnley, beating their rivals only on the additional criteria.
In the last two matches, Leeds achieved victories over Middlesbrough (1-0) and Preston (2-1). Before that, the ‘Whites’ failed to win in three consecutive Championship matches. It is also worth noting that in 21 away matches, Leeds lost only three times with nine wins.
