Lyon had their first stint last weekend, against Bordeaux (3-3). Rapidly before (2-0) before seeing Darder get kicked out, the Gones nevertheless led 3-1, before seeing Bordeaux back in the final five minutes. A little unfortunate hitch that does not however stash the good start of the season of an OL having perfectly managed the departures of Lacazette and Tolisso. Dominated by Lille (3-0) and OM (0-1) in the first two days, Ranieri’s men will be able to build on the success of Troyes (0-1) last Saturday. We still remember that OL had shown the Canaries that they were not playing in the same court in 2016/2017 (victories 3-2 and 0-6 …). Still traumatized, will the Nantes only have the technical and physical means to be respected?

Nantes had an exceptional coach in the person of Ranieri but forgot to provide him with a team. Capable of defending together but too weak too offensively, the Canaries should not resist an Olympique Lyonnais rather impressive since the recovery. Bordeaux were unlikely to join Bordeaux last weekend (3-3), Lyon will resume its march forward in La Beaujoire.
