Hanover on Monday
Like every week, the current matchday of the 2nd German Bundesliga will be concluded on Monday evening. There are two teams, whose claims are currently very different. The talk is of the teams from Hannover and Bochum. The kick-off is on 13 February at 18:15.
Hannover 96
Hannover 96 is on course towards an immediate resurgence. This “fate” is shared by the Lower Saxony with the VFB Stuttgart, which is currently at the Tabellenspitze. Hannover’s backlog: three points. But beware: Winterkönig Eintracht Braunschweig is ranked third with the elite of Daniel Stendel. In addition, Hannover had to digest two bitter pledges. It was the first match against Greuther Fürth, which was an unexpected and bitter 1: 4 defeat, then the Eintracht Frankfurt side had to be beaten 1: 2. The only success in the new calendar year thus remains the narrow 1: 0 against descent candidate Kaiserslautern. Above all the defensive of the Stendel-Elf had in the last weeks anything but saddle-fest. Already against the offensive strong Lauterer left a lot of possibilities, with the difference, that the teams of Fürth and Frankfurt Selbige could also use.
VFL Bochum
If Hannover are not satisfied with just one win from the last three games, what will the Bochum say? The team of Gertjan Verbeek has not been able to celebrate a single full success in the same period. Instead, there was a league 1: 1 against Karlsruher SC, where they missed a final free-kick in the league. In the spring break the VFL against Union Berlin could not convert a lead into countable, drew with 1: 2 the short. Like Bochum, Bochum has problems in defense, but these are almost chronic. With 31 opponents Bochum is currently the third-most defensive defensive of the entire league. It was only once in the 2016/2017 season that a match without a matchmaker could be finished. Advantage for Bochum: In contrast to Hanover, there was no game to play during the week after the club from the Ruhrpott pulled the shortlist against the lower class representative from Walldorf in the first cup round. In addition, Bochum is not necessarily an outing. Instead you show yourself in a foreign country regularly. Lever two counters took the VFL in the past five away matches.
At Hanover, it will be interesting to see how the team handles the (unfamiliar) setbacks. If you manage to be a little more stable on the defensive, the Lower Saxony on Monday are, of course, favorites. We expect them to do the same. Our tip: Tip 1.
Prediction: Hannover win
Odds: 1.70
