Hammarby vs Varnamo Prediction & Tips
Hammarby, one of the main contenders for the title, continues to have an impressive season. The team is second in the table with 30 points after 14 games, just one point behind leaders Mjällby. Kim Hellberg’s side are in fine form, with three consecutive wins over Degerfors (1-0), Elfsborg (2-0) and Halmstad (2-0).
Värnamo have had a difficult season and are currently bottom of the table with just four points after 13 games. Arne Sandstø’s side are still without a win, have lost nine games and drawn four, and are already nine points away from salvation (14th).
The away form is very poor: only one point from six games and 13 goals conceded. Despite some progress (draws against Elfsborg and Öster), Värnamo remain the main relegation candidates. The biggest attacking threat is Johnbosco Kalu, scorer of two goals in 13 games, a figure clearly insufficient for relegation aspirations.
