The team managed by Steve Clarke has not played in a World Cup since France 1998 and arrives in good spirits after recovering from an inconsistent start to their preparations. Following two consecutive defeats, the Scots bounced back with a 4-1 win over Curaçao and a 4-0 thrashing of Bolivia.
