This Saturday, the third day of the Premier League kicks off with a match between Chelsea and Fulham at 1.30 p.m. at Stamford Bridge. It is one of many London derbies we will be treated to this season. Winners of the last Club World Cup, the Blues are hoping to have a very successful season. They had a difficult start to their Premier League campaign, held to a 0-0 draw at home by Crystal Palace. Enzo Maresca’s team quickly bounced back with a resounding 5-1 victory over West Ham. Now, another London team will be visiting their home turf.
After finishing 11th last season, Fulham are once again aiming to finish in the top half of the table in this edition of the English championship. The Cottagers are yet to win after their first two Premier League games, but they haven’t lost either. They drew 1-1 with Brighton and 1-1 with Manchester United. It was in the Carabao Cup that Marco Silva’s men managed to get their first win. Last Wednesday, they qualified for the round of 32 of the English cup by beating Bristol City (2-0). It will not be easy to follow up against one of the big teams in the league!
