Germany finished top of Group E despite a late stumble. This will be just the second-ever meeting between the two sides. Germany won the only previous encounter 1-0 at the 2002 World Cup, courtesy of a late goal from Oliver Neuville. The teams also met in a friendly back in August 2013, which ended in a 3-3 draw.
