Tottenham is struggling not only with its recent poor form but also with history, given that in only four of the first 51 instances has a team managed to overturn a Champions League knockout tie after losing the first leg by a margin of at least three goals. Current manager Igor Tudor expressed hope that Sunday’s 1-1 draw in the Premier League at Anfield could be a turning point to end a run of eight games without a win across all competitions (2 draws, 6 losses) and, perhaps, even save his job.
