Pisa vs Atalanta Prediction & Tips
Pisa’s adaptation to Serie A remains difficult, as they drew 2-2 against Udinese last weekend. Alberto Gilardino’s team had to come from behind to salvage a point, despite scoring first, and they start the day in the relegation zone. Pisa have gone nine games without a win (D4, L5) and remain the league’s draw specialists, with ten of their games ending in a stalemate, the highest number in the championship. Only three of those draws have been at home, where Pisa have managed just one Serie A win this season (L6), and they have failed to score in all nine games they have not won.
Atalanta started the season with seven draws in their first nine league games (W2), but have not drawn again in Serie A since then, showing a clear improvement. “La Dea” beat Torino 2-0 on the last matchday, recording their fifth win in six Serie A games, a run that has put them back in the fight for European places. This coincides with the arrival of Raffaele Palladino, who has won six of his nine league games in charge (L3), two of them against title contenders Inter and Napoli. In addition, they have started to improve their away form, with Atalanta winning their last two league games on the road without conceding a goal.
