Bayern Munich vs Freiburg Prediction & Tips
FC Bayern wants to make a successful comeback after the international break. Just before the break, the club’s fabulous run of 15 wins from 15 competitive games came to an end. On Saturday (22 November), Munich will play a home game against SC Freiburg. An uneven match? There are several reasons why this is exactly the case.
Firstly, there is the historical perspective. In the Bundesliga, FCB have only lost four times to the Sportclub, and Bayern have never finished a league game at home against the Breisgauers without scoring. In the last three direct duels in the top flight, however, the German record champions have ‘only’ scored two goals each time. Their current form also shows why FC Bayern will start the match as clear favourites.
With three wins and 13 goals, SCF is currently languishing in the grey mediocrity of the table. By comparison, the Reds score almost three times as often (35 goals). History and current form both clearly favour the home side on Saturday. Or has the international break caused the mighty Bayern to lose their rhythm?
