KuPS vs Drita Prediction & Tips
Tammelan Stadion in Tampere, home to Ilves, will be KuPS’s temporary home next Thursday for their match against Drita in the first round of the Conference League group stage. The team led by coach Jarkko Wiss failed to qualify for the Europa League after losing in the play-off against Midtjylland and will now try to qualify for the knockout stages of UEFA’s third club competition. The team is in good form, having won two consecutive matches with impressive attacking performances, against Gnistan (4-0 away) and SJK (3-2 at home).
Drita celebrated winning the Kosovo national championship for the fourth time in its history four years later, but was unable to cope with the competition in the preliminary rounds of the Champions League and Europa League. In the Kosovar league, Zekirija Ramadani’s side has fallen well short of expectations, with only eight points from seven games, already eight points behind leaders Prishtina.
