Osasuna vs Valencia Prediction & Tips
Osasuna completed last season’s LaLiga at a high level, finishing ninth and on the same points as Rayo Vallecano, who qualified for the Conference League. The team was just three points away from the Europa League, making the campaign an overall success.
The pre-season was difficult: out of six friendlies, Osasuna managed only one win, drew twice and lost three times. The start in LaLiga was also tough – away to Real Madrid, the team lost 0-1, conceding the only goal from the penalty spot.
Valencia had an inconsistent last season in LaLiga, finishing twelfth, down from ninth place in the previous campaign. The team was six points off the European places, but that same distance also separated them from relegation, which is evidence of their inconsistent results.
The preparation for the new season was not ideal either: out of five friendlies, only one win against Torino (3-0), two draws and two defeats. The league debut was decent: on the first matchday, Valencia drew 1-1 with Real Sociedad, although they had clear chances to take all three points.
