PSG vs Real Madrid Prediction & Tips
The Parisians are experiencing the best period in their history. Winning Ligue 1 or the Coupe de France no longer surprises anyone, but Luis Enrique’s side achieved an incredible feat last season. The Champions League triumph left an indelible mark on the capital club’s history.
This summer, at the Club World Cup, PSG continue to play spectacular football, creating numerous scoring chances. In the group stage they only stumbled against Botafogo, but they gave neither Seattle nor Atlético Madrid a chance.
The Madrid giants are in the midst of a rebuilding process and are still adapting to the demands of their new coach, Xabi Alonso. At times, the team is showing what the energetic Spanish coach wants to see, although Los Merengues’ play still looks rather inconsistent.
Al-Hilal took advantage of this and managed to take points off Real Madrid at the start of the group stage. Already outnumbered, Alonso’s men overcame Pachuca and then dispatched Salzburg without major setbacks. In all honesty, though, few expected any other result.
