FC Cartagena SAD vs Mirandes Prediction & Tips
Cartagena, which will celebrate just its thirtieth anniversary this summer, has already played twice in the second division in its short history. Their first stint was limited to three seasons between 2009 and 2012. They returned five years ago and, at that point, seemed to have finally managed to consolidate their place in the division. Even last season they had 51 points, occupying fourteenth place by play-off criteria.
Mirandes have been in Segunda since 2012, albeit with a break between 2017 and 2019, when they had to return briefly to the third tier of Spanish football. There was concern that, for the third year in a row, results were only getting worse. In fact, last year they finished in eighteenth position, very close to the relegation zone.
