Chelsea vs Djurgarden Prediction & Tips
Chelsea, who won the Champions League under Tuchel, naturally want to play in that competition again. Pochettino failed to return the London giants to the top four last season and was sacked early after just one year in charge. And Maresca, of course, understands that he will receive no more leniency, especially now that even fifth place might be good enough. However, the competition is fierce and consumes most of his energies.
Djurgarden have managed to go surprisingly far in the Conference League. They started the tournament in the summer and, after coming through three qualifying rounds, the Scandinavians put in a solid performance in the main round, winning four games and scoring thirteen points. Then, despite losing the first match 0-1, they eliminated Paphos and Rapid Vienna. Against the top favourites they only managed a consolation goal at home and ended up losing 1-4.
