Leicester vs Southampton Prediction & Tips
Leicester have had a completely disastrous season and failed to consolidate their position in the Premier League. Even the change of manager midway through the campaign was not enough, as the arrival of Ruud van Nistelrooy could not turn the situation around.
Under the Dutchman’s management, the team lost any chance of survival long before the end of the season. This did not come as a surprise, as it was something that had been brewing since the end of last year. Not only did they fail to stop the slide, but the situation got even worse.
Southampton’s campaign has been even more disappointing than that of Leicester. They were bottom of the table from the start of the season and, after matchday 16, Russell Martin was sacked.
His replacement, Ivan Jurić, was also unable to turn things around and, under his stewardship, the team signed off with a negative Premiership record and were relegated to the Championship sooner than anyone else in history – with seven games to go.
