Real Sociedad vs Osasuna Prediction & Tips
Led by Imanol Alguacil, who recently quashed rumors that he could replace Xavi Hernández on the FC Barcelona bench, Real Sociedad is currently in a slump in LaLiga EA Sports (LL). With a 0-0 draw away to Girona last Saturday, the San Sebastian outfit head into Matchday 24 having dropped out of contention for the Champions League and Europa League places after just one win (Celta 0-1 RS, Round 21) in their last seven league games (G1, E5, P1).
Real are in danger of dropping out of the European zone, and their recent poor results at home have contributed to this. The txuri-urdin team has drawn three LL matches at the Reale Arena (0-0 Betis, 1-1 Alavés, 0-0 Vallecano), raising doubts ahead of the match against Osasuna, against whom they were held to a 1-1 draw at El Sadar in the first leg.

Real Sociedad is not the most conducive opponent for the Navarre club’s long spell without an away win to come to an end: Osasuna has not beaten Real in any competition since May 20212 (E6, P11), a streak that includes 11 matches under Jagoba Arrasate (E3, P8).
Players to watch: Real Sociedad won each of the last nine LL matches in which Brais Méndez was on target, one of which came at home against Osasuna in 2022-23. Moi Gómez comes into this match with 19 matches of experience against Real, against whom he opened the scoring on matchday 15.
The last eight meetings between these clubs in LL have had less than 2.5 goals.
