After the excellent performances at Euro 2021, where they surrendered only to extra-time in the semifinals to the European vice-champions of England, Denmark has every intention of picking up the path from where it left off and going back to Qatar 2022. The start of the world qualifiers in this sense is nothing short of encouraging for the Danes, given that the start was a perfect one. Now the match against Scotland is a sort of maturity exam for Kjaer and his teammates, who will have to keep the tension high to avoid dangerous slips that could complicate a qualification that at the moment seems really close at hand …
