Wolfsburg vs Stuttgart Prediction & Tips
Wolfsburg kicked off the new Bundesliga season with a 3-1 victory over Heidenheim. However, the team’s momentum since that initial success has been disappointing. The Wolves followed up with a draw against Mainz (1-1) and another against Cologne (3-3), before suffering three consecutive defeats — 0-1 against Borussia, 0-1 against Leipzig, and then 1-3 against Augsburg. After six games, Wolfsburg has only five points and is in 15th place in the standings. Stuttgart, meanwhile, who finished last season in mid-table but lifted the DFB-Pokal and returned to Europe, have made a good start to the new campaign. However, the battle for the top four and European places looks set to be very close, as the gap between the teams is so small. In the Europa League, Stuttgart beat Celta Vigo 2-1 in their first group game, before losing to Basel on the second matchday.
