Carles Martínez’s side lost their last away game against Auxerre (0-1), squandering a numerical advantage for more than 25 minutes. This defeat was the club’s third consecutive loss in Ligue 1, and on two occasions the margin was minimal. The start of the season has been unstable and Toulouse are in danger of losing four of their first six league games for the first time since the 2003/04 campaign.
