Swansea vs Hull Prediction & Tips
Before the start of the Championship campaign, Swansea took a realistic assessment of their strengths: with the current squad, challenging for the playoffs would be utopian, but the Welsh side should be able to solve the task of staying in the league without nerves. And so far, under the guidance of Alan Sheehan, the Swans are on track without any serious setbacks.
Swansea have had an excellent run of form, winning their last three games without conceding a goal in that period. They defeated Derby County (1:0), Plymouth (3:0) and Sunderland (1:0). The team moved up to 12th place, a comfortable 12 points clear of the relegation zone. The team has picked up pace and improved in stability, which gives reason to hope for a quiet end to the championship.
Before the start of the season, Hull looked like a typical contender for a solid mid-table finish: the ‘tigers’’ player selection was at a level to look at the Championship calendar without fear. But the reality turned out to be harsh: the team’s first stretch was a complete failure, settling for a long time in the relegation zone.
However, under the leadership of Tom Cleverley, the ‘tigers’ managed to revive the season and enter the fight for survival. Currently, Hull are in 20th place with 45 points and a minimal three-point margin above the danger zone. On the last matchday, Hull City hosted Coventry City at home and drew 1:1.
