Two of the bookmakers’ main favourites to go far in the UEFA Conference League face each other on matchday four, as French side Strasbourg, who remain unbeaten, host English side Crystal Palace.
Strasbourg have lived up to expectations in the Conference League, failing to lose any of their three matches (W2, D1), which places them among the most outstanding teams at this early stage. However, their recent form has been inconsistent, with three wins and three defeats in their last six matches in all competitions. All of those defeats have come away from home, so the Alsatian club will be delighted to return to the Stade de la Meinau. Only Marseille have managed to beat Liam Rosenior’s men at home this season (W5, D2), and they have kept a clean sheet in each of those five victories.
