South Africa – Rwanda (Pick, Prediction, Preview) Preview

South Africa vs Rwanda Prediction & Tips

This final day of qualifying is important for South Africa, currently in second place, who could take first place in Group C if they beat Rwanda by at least two goals and Benin fail to win against Nigeria, currently in third place, who can still qualify. The Bafana Bafana have not lost since 15 June and are on an eight-match unbeaten run. Foster’s teammates (two goals) are coming off a win in Lesotho (3-0) and two draws against Nigeria (1-1) and Zimbabwe (0-0) in the last three rounds of qualifying.

Nothing is going right for Rwanda, which has been on a losing streak since last June and lost all hope of qualifying following its defeat to Benin (0-1), the leader, on the last matchday. Adel Amrouche’s side have lost four of their last five matches in all competitions, in Algeria (2-0 and 2-0), Nigeria (1-0) and Benin (0-1). Fourth and four points behind second place, Rwanda cannot catch up with South Africa even if they win at Mbombela Stadium.
