Somalia vs Guinea Prediction & Tips
Somalia has already lost any chance of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. The team lost 1-3 to Algeria, lost to Uganda 0-1, Mozambique 1-2, and were also beaten twice by Botswana – 1-3 in the first match and 0-2 in the second. Somalia’s only point came against Guinea, after a 0-0 draw. They have just one point, with a goal difference of 3:11, and are at the bottom of the table. They have four games to go, 14 points behind first place and 11 points behind second.
Guinea is the only team that failed to beat Somalia in the first round and will surely want to rectify that situation now. Guinea still have a chance, but they need as many points as possible to do so. They won on the opening day 2-1, then lost to Botswana 0-1. Then they won again 2-1 and lost 0-1 in the fourth match. Later, they drew with Somalia 0-0 and lost to Uganda 0-1. They now have seven points after six matches and are five points off second place. Four matches remain – and hopes are still alive.
