In Roma’s group in addition to Slavia Prague are Servette and Sheriff Tiraspol, two teams inferior to both the Italians and the Czechs: they will most likely play for the third place that is worth the Conference League round of 16. Servette after getting off to a hesitant start in Switzerland has picked up three consecutive victories that take it to fifth place. They do not particularly stand out in Europe, but then again, the technical level is low compared to Roma. Sheriff comes from a 4-0 win that is well worth it (Sparta Selemet is last in an already uncompetitive Moldavian tournament) and a 0-0 draw with Petrocub that followed the drubbing in Prague. Thus, it does not appear to be a team at its best time of the year.
