Romania U21 vs Slovakia U21 Prediction & Tips
Romania’s national team arrived at Euro 2025 with the ambition of fighting for the playoffs, but after just two games it was clear that Daniel Pancu’s team failed to rise to the challenge. Two narrow defeats (0-1 to Italy and 1-2 to Spain) sent the Romanians home early, despite playing well and even being ahead against the Spaniards.
Slovakia, the hosts at this stage of the tournament, showed some brave and progressive football, although they have yet to pick up points. Jaroslav Kentos’ team lost twice by the narrowest of margins: against Spain (2-3) they came close to springing a surprise, and against Italy (0-1) they conceded the only goal from the penalty spot.
