Portugal U21 vs Poland U21 Prediction & Tips

The Portugal Under-21 team, coached by the experienced Rui Jorge, kicked off the European Championships with a goalless draw against France, showing a good level of play, but without getting the desired result. The team boasts an impressive squad, with wing talents such as Geovani Quenda and Roger, as well as a solid midfield with Paulo Bernardo and Mateus Fernandes. However, recent results are a cause for concern: just one win in their last five matches, including friendly defeats to England and Romania.

Poland come into the tournament as the big outsiders and already in the opener they lost 1-2 to Georgia, showing character but falling apart at the end. Adam Majewski’s team does not boast any big names, but they do have some outstanding representatives of the new Polish generation: Kacper Kozłowski and Jakub Kałuziński, both of whom are capable of surprising in attack. Poland came through the qualifiers with flying colours, losing only to Germany, and will be hoping to avoid a repeat of the last two European Championships, where they failed to advance to the knockout stages.
