Nottingham vs West Ham Prediction & Tips

Nuno’s doubts about his future, expressed by himself, surprised Forest fans last week after an unbeaten start to the season (W1, D1). The Portuguese manager retains the support of the fans, but a dispute with the owner puts his job in serious jeopardy. Nuno’s insistence that ‘there will be a solution’ may cause anxiety at the City Ground, but Forest will focus on winning two consecutive league games at home to start the season for the first time in eight years, and for the first time in the top flight since the 1984/85 season.

It has been a truly depressing campaign for West Ham, who have suffered their worst start to a season since 1954/55. Two heavy defeats against Sunderland and Chelsea in the Premier League were followed by a 3-2 defeat in the EFL Cup against Wolves on Tuesday, which culminated in captain and star player Jarrod Bowen having to be dragged away from the away fans. Potter is therefore under intense pressure for his job, and it is no surprise, as no other Premier League team has won fewer points since his appointment than the Hammers’ 20.
