After an inconsistent campaign in the UEFA Europa League (UEL), Nottingham Forest could hardly have asked for a more favorable opponent on matchday five than Malmö, who are still without a win.
Nottingham Forest managed to climb out of the Premier League relegation zone over the weekend with a 3-0 win over Liverpool, one of the biggest surprises of the season. Their UEL campaign now needs the same attention (W1, D2, L1), as Forest come into this matchday sitting second from bottom in the standings, although stringing together two consecutive wins while scoring three goals should make Sean Dyche’s men feel they can compete with anyone at the moment. That will be especially true at the City Ground, where the Reds remain unbeaten under Dyche (W2, D1), including a remarkable 2-0 win over Porto on matchday three.
