Napoli vs Udinese Prediction & Tips
Under Antonio Conte, Napoli failed to claim victory in Rome last time out, drawing 1-1 against Roma. This result ended their impressive run of seven consecutive Serie A wins and marked the first time in five games that the Neapolitans had scored fewer than two goals. In addition, the team has conceded goals in three consecutive matches, something that has not happened this season.
Despite these results, Napoli still lead the championship with 54 points, maintaining a comfortable three-point lead over closest challengers Inter. The Neapolitans continue to show the best defence in the league, conceding just 16 goals all season. At home, the team is also solid, having won nine of their last eleven home games.
For their part, Udinese, coached by Kosta Runjaić, managed an important home win last time out, beating Venezia 3-2 in a hard-fought encounter. The win was long overdue, as the team had failed to win in their previous five Serie A matches, accumulating three draws and two defeats. Interestingly, it was only the second time all season that Udinese had scored three goals in a match.
Currently, Udinese are tenth in the table with 29 points. However, their away performance leaves much to be desired: in their last nine away games, they only managed to avoid defeat on two occasions, both of which were draws, while they suffered defeats in the other matches.
