Mirandes vs Leganes Prediction & Tips
Both teams need to score points to stay in the play-off zone. Mirandés, which came within a whisker of promotion last season, has only managed to secure a third of the points available. Leganés, which won its last two away games, is in better form.
Mirandés has failed to win in its last four games. During that span, it even lost both of its home games. First, it was thrashed 5-1 by La Coruña, and then it lost to Zaragoza by the smallest of margins. At least last week it managed to earn a point away at Valladolid (1-1) despite being dominated by its rival. The Rojillos remain stuck on eight points.
Meanwhile, Leganés, with 10 points, is closer to sixth place. The “pepineros” have one of the best defences in the tournament, but their goal production is very low. This has prevented them from achieving consistent positive results. For example, they are coming off a 2-1 win over Andorra, although in previous games they had recorded two consecutive defeats by the narrowest of margins.
