Marseille vs Angers Prediction & Tips
Many of the Ligue 1 fixtures on matchday 10 will be played on Wednesday at 9:05 p.m. This is particularly true of the match between Olympique de Marseille and SCO Angers, which will be held at the Stade Vélodrome. After a series of five consecutive league wins that saw them take the lead in the table, the Marseille club has just suffered a setback. Last weekend, they lost 2-1 away to RC Lens. This setback saw Roberto De Zerbi’s team drop to third place. They will be keen to bounce back in this new fixture.
SCO Angers, meanwhile, has managed to get back on track. The Angers club had gone seven games without a win before hosting FC Lorient last Sunday. It managed to return to winning ways with a convincing 2-0 victory. Alexandre Dujeux’s men took advantage of this excellent result to climb out of the relegation zone and move up to 15th place in the table. However, it will not be easy to follow up on this result with a win away at Marseille.
