Ludogorets vs Anderlecht Prediction & Tips
Ludogorets – Anderlecht, a match valid for the Conference League round of 16 first leg, is being played at the Huvepharma Arena in Razgrad. Ludogorets had a good Europa League round in which, however, they finished third behind Betis and Roma, teams that are clearly better equipped. Anderlecht, on the other hand, finished second in the Conference behind the unbeatable West Ham and ahead of Silkeborg and FCSB: an unsurprising result in line with the technical values of the group.
Ludogorets recently resumed the league: at home for once there is a bit of a fight at the top with CSKA Sofia first by one point ahead of the green-and-whites. This in our opinion will raise the level of tension and commitment of the players in Europe as well. The first match a few days ago was a win over Spartak Varna, a team last in the standings. Anderlecht comes from three wins in four matches, two of them, however, against the last in the league (Seraing and Oostende), and in the standings they are tenth.
Ludogorets comes in with a full squad. Some of the most important men this season are Ghanaian Tekpetey and Argentine Tissera, who were decisive in the last year. Anderlecht recently signed Slimani, an Algerian wanderer also at Lyon and revealed at Sporting Lisbon, and the Dane Dreyer, already decisive against Oostende and Sint-Truiden. Former Roma player Diawara, often used in the season, is seen again in this competition.
Ludogorets has just started the league again and is therefore fresh and with a full squad.
Anderlecht is in good form but in the league they are struggling and are still tenth.
In the Europa League this season Ludogorets has performed well with seven points in the round of Betis and Roma.
