Liechtenstein vs Belgium Prediction & Tips
At the Rheinpark Stadium in Vaduz on Thursday 4 September, Belgium visits Liechtenstein in the match corresponding to the 5th day of Group J of the UEFA Qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. Rudi Garcia’s side must win to stay in contention for the top spots: the Red Devils have picked up four points from two games, thanks to a draw against North Macedonia and a victory over Wales. Macedonia currently leads the group with eight points, but has played two more games than Belgium. In between, Wales is second with 7 points, while Kazakhstan follows with 3 points.
On the other side, Liechtenstein continues to chase a dream called the World Cup, which, however, seems very distant: Konrad Fünfstuck’s team has not won a World Cup qualifier since September 2005, i.e. in 44 matches. In addition to technical limitations, there is an obvious problem in front of goal: zero goals scored in the first three games. Everything points to a one-sided match, with Belgium the clear favourites to return home with all three points and continue their march towards a fourth consecutive FIFA World Cup qualification.
