Le Havre vs Nice Prediction & Tips
Le Havre narrowly avoided relegation last season, and the start of the new campaign offers little hope to fans that the 2025/26 season will be any different. Didier Digard’s side have lost their first two Ligue 1 matches for the first time since 1995/96, falling to Monaco (3-1) and Lens (2-1) respectively. Signs of improvement are few and far between as, since the start of last season, Le Havre have lost more home games (13) and conceded more goals at home (43) than any other Ligue 1 team.
Nice responded well to their opening day defeat, beating Auxerre 3-1 on the second day. That result finally brought some comfort to the fans, who had seen their team lose three consecutive games without scoring, including two defeats against Benfica in the UEFA Champions League qualifying phase. Franck Haise and his team will now look to maintain the good form they showed away from home last season, when a run of just two defeats in their last seven away league games (W3, D2) helped them secure fourth place.
