Ipswich are determined to fight until the end for their place in the Premier League, as they showed in their last game against Chelsea. They failed to hold on for the win, but managed to take a point from Stamford Bridge.
This will probably not play a major role in the fight for survival, as the team’s efforts will clearly not be enough. As well as winning their games, Ipswich need their rivals to drop points, so a return to the Championship is only a matter of time.
Arsenal have lost their winning streak in the Premier League and have focused on their performance in the Champions League, where for the first time in many years they managed to reach the semi-finals, beating Real Madrid twice.
In the last two Premier League matches, the Gunners failed to beat Everton and Brentford, drawing on both occasions. It seems that keeping second place will not be a problem, as the lead over third place is six points.
