The state of form
Hungary have been out of the race for a long time in the qualifying race, 3rd in Group B, just ahead of their opponent of the day. Beaten at home against Portugal on the 8th day (0-1), the Hungarians fell heavily in Switzerland last Saturday (5-2).
4th in the standings at a length behind, the Faroes are planning to make a final blow and return to the Hungarians on Tuesday. Winners of Andorra in the previous day (1-0), Lars Olsen then conceded a point at home against Latvia last weekend (0-0).
Hungary has hardly changed anything in its list of players. There are leaders Gulasci (Leipzig), Kadar (Dynamo Kiev), Lang (Dijon), Nagy (Bologna) and Böde (Ferencvaros). The important Gera, Kleinheisler and Szalai are uncertain, all but Captain Dzsudsak comes back from suspension.
