Go Ahead Eagles earned the right to play in the Europa League thanks to their victory in the Dutch Cup and, for the first time in their history, will compete in the main phase of the tournament. Already on the first matchday, Melvin Boel’s team will face a tough test: taking on Romanian side FCSB.
This season, the club is performing solidly in the Eredivisie: in six matches, it has suffered only one defeat, against Sparta (0-3).
