Fulham vs Brighton Prediction & Tips
Fulham conceded a goal in added time and lost 1-0 to Leeds on Saturday, suffering their first Premier League defeat since early December after a six-match unbeaten run (W4, D2). A below-par performance saw the Cottagers drop out of the top half of the table, although they remain close to the European places, so they have plenty of reasons to bounce back. They will be hoping to improve at Craven Cottage, as Marco Silva’s side are also unbeaten in their last three league games at home (W2, D1), facing Chelsea (2-1) and Liverpool (2-2) in that period.
Brighton experienced the opposite side of a last-gasp goal, scoring in the dying minutes to salvage a 1-1 draw against Bournemouth on Monday night. Although that goal may have provided a morale boost, Fabian Hürzeler’s side have only managed one win in their last nine league games (D5, L3). However, with only a five-point gap to fifth place before the matchday, their European chances remain intact. They will need to improve away from home if they are to stay in the hunt, as the Seagulls have not won in their last four away games (D2, L2), three of which were against teams in the top four before the matchday. Furthermore, they have only managed two wins in their last 18 league games as visitors in London (D7, L9), which does not inspire optimism.
