In the new 2025 season, Fredrikstad started with some aspirations and, after 13 games, they are in eighth place in the table. However, in recent weeks, the team has shown a drop in form and has now gone seven consecutive games without a win.
The last time they picked up three points was in mid-May, when they beat Oslo 1-0 at home. That was followed by a Norwegian Cup elimination on penalties against Lillestrøm, as well as four defeats and two draws in the league. Last time out, Fredrikstad drew 1-1 away to Vålerenga.
Molde are one of Norway’s most successful clubs, but in recent years they have failed to live up to their reputation. Their last league title dates back to 2022. Last season, Molde finished a lowly fifth and the start of the current campaign has been even more difficult.
After 13 games, Molde are in twelfth place and just two points above the relegation zone, a situation far from the club’s expectations. They were also knocked out of the Norwegian Cup in the last 16 after losing to Kristiansund.
