Everton vs West Ham Prediction & Tips
Everton changed managers at the end of last season. David Moyes returned to the club where he began his career with great success. Now the team is picking up points at a decent pace and has clearly had a better start than last season. The Toffees have seven points and are in twelfth place in the table. In their first five games, Everton lost their opener, then won twice, drew once and lost 2-1 to Liverpool on the last matchday. Despite being in twelfth place, they are only three points behind sixth place, which leaves promising prospects for the future.
West Ham, meanwhile, have had a very poor start to the season. The team has lost four of their first five matches, conceding three or more goals in three of those defeats. The Hammers are in nineteenth place, with just three points and a goal difference of 5:13, currently the worst defence in the league. The board took action: Nuno Espírito Santo replaced Graham Potter on the bench. The match against Everton will be the Portuguese coach’s debut after his departure from Nottingham.
