Cagliari vs Bologna Prediction & Tips
Cagliari has had a fairly good start to the season. On the first day, the team drew with Fiorentina (1-1), then lost to Napoli (0-1), before going on to win two consecutive matches.
However, Fabio Pisacane’s men have slowed down in recent games: a defeat against Inter (0-2) and a draw against Udinese (1-1) have seen them drop back into mid-table. The ‘Islanders’ are currently in 11th place, but a win in this match could significantly improve their position.
Bologna are performing even better. Under Vincenzo Italiano, the team have lost only twice in Serie A: against Roma and AC Milan (both 0-1). Before the international break, the Rossoblù easily dominated Pisa, inflicting a resounding 4-0 defeat on their opponents.
To date, Bologna has 10 points and is in seventh place, just five points behind leaders Napoli. Of note is the absence of Andrea Belotti, who is still recovering from injury. Despite this, the team has already proven that it can get results without its striker.
