Brazil which, as mentioned, played an almost perfect group stage, allowing itself to relax only after the games are over: a draw in the last round after three consecutive victories!

Chile, on the other hand, played a really deficient group stage, qualifying for the Round of 16 as fourth in its group (last available position), ahead only of Bolivia (which lost them all).
The victory of Vidal and his team mates against Bolivia (moreover with the minimum difference: 1-0) was fundamental, because then there were two draws (1-1 both against Argentina and against Uruguay) and the defeat against Paraguay ( 0-2).
Maximum result with minimum effort, this could be defined as the group stage of Chile. On the other hand, that of Brazil is quite different, but now it will have on its shoulders all the weight of the responsibilities of playing as a favorite (and moreover in home).
