Auxerre vs Toulouse Prediction & Tips
One of the highlights of the fifth day of Ligue 1 sees AJ Auxerre take on Toulouse FC this Sunday at 5.15pm at the Stade de l’Abbé-Deschamps. Last season, Auxerre returned to the top flight of French football and managed to stay there without too much difficulty. The situation could be a little more complicated in the coming months. The team coached by Christophe Pélissier has not been performing well at all at the start of this season. It is only in 15th place in the standings after the first four matchdays.
After a very difficult summer preparation period, Toulouse FC did not go into the Ligue 1 season with much confidence. However, it managed to reassure everyone right from the start by winning its first two matches. Admittedly, Téfécé has now suffered two consecutive defeats. However, Carles Martínez Novell’s men have only lost to two of Ligue 1’s big guns: PSG and LOSC. They will have a chance to bounce back this weekend, and our prediction is that they will do just that.
