Augsburg vs FC Koln Prediction & Tips
The 24th matchday of the 1st Bundesliga kicks off with a very interesting duel. On Friday (27 February), we look to Augsburg, where the Fuggerstadt team will battle for three points against 1. FC Köln at 8.30 p.m. A relegation battle? Not anymore, because FCA has fought its way up the table in impressive fashion in recent weeks. The cathedral city club, on the other hand, is currently lacking a spirit of optimism, and its lead over the relegation zone is getting smaller and smaller.
In the first half of the season, the direct duel ended in a peaceful 1-1 draw – funnily enough, it was the third 1-1 draw in a row. Augsburg have not won in six games against Cologne, with goals on both sides being the norm. The Bavarian Swabians last celebrated a home win against FC in September 2017. Interestingly, three of the last four home games against Cologne have been lost – all of them in the second half of the season.
