The hosts are likely to be as defensively entrenched as they were in the first leg and will be looking for the right strike against Pep Guardiola’s side, who had described Atletico’s form as 5-5-0 after the first leg. After the 1-0 defeat at the Etihad Stadium, Atletico lost with the same result in the last round of the La Liga at Mallorca. Gimenez and Herrera are both in doubt, while Gabriel Jesus is out of action. Ruben Dias and Palmer are to be checked.
