AC Milan vs Feyenoord Prediction & Tips
The second leg of the Champions League play-offs kicks off! The match between AC Milan and Feyenoord will kick off the hostilities. The two teams meet at 6.45pm on Tuesday at the San Siro. The Rossoneri fell at the first hurdle. Far from being up to scratch, the Lombardy club lost 1-0 in the Netherlands. However, the current 7th-placed team in Serie A are only one goal behind going into the second leg of the play-off. And in front of their home fans, it will clearly not be the same story.
In the first leg, Feyenoord had their fans behind them to beat the odds. However, the Dutch club have not been nearly as solid away from home in recent weeks. Last weekend, they were held to a 0-0 draw at Breda. Pascal Bosschaart’s men are only in 4th place in the Eredivisie. They will have their work cut out if they are to maintain their narrow advantage and reach the last 16 of the Champions League this Tuesday.
AC Milan were clearly not at their best during the first leg of the Champions League play-off. In particular, the Rossoneri failed to match their intensity. They pushed a little towards the end of the game, but ultimately had to bow out to Feyenoord (1-0). Sergio Conceiçao will be hoping his players show a different side at the San Siro. He can be hopeful. The Lombardy club are unbeaten in their last 12 matches in all competitions. Last weekend, they beat Hellas Verona 1-0. Currently in 7th place in Serie A, AC Milan are looking to continue their run in Europe’s premier club competition.
