Ludogorets vs Celta Vigo Prediction & Tips
Ludogorets are not having a good run in the UEFA Europa League (UEL) this season, but the Bulgarian side are confident that a change on the bench will give them a boost ahead of the visit of Celta Vigo, who are looking to maintain their good form.
Ludogorets got off to a good start in the group stage, beating Malmö 2-1, but the Eagles of Razgrad have sunk down the table after suffering three consecutive defeats, conceding at least two goals in each game, leaving them with little chance of qualifying for the knockout stages. A poor run of results cost Rui Mota his job as coach, and his permanent replacement, Per-Mathias Høgmo, made his debut by guiding the Eagles to a 2-0 victory over Septemvri Sofia on Sunday. That win was only Ludogorets’ second in their last ten competitive games (W2, D3, L5), but both came away from home. At home, Ludogorets have gone three competitive games without a win (D1, L2) and six in the UEL (excluding qualifying rounds: D1, L5).
